"Hello my name is Hamadi Mganga and I am currently a Freshman at Carlow University. During my junior year of high school, I was one of the first participants of the Young Born Leaders program and I have remained a member of YBL for the past two years. When I joined the program, I learned a lot about what the next steps were for after graduation. For me, I knew that I wanted to go to college, but I wasn’t sure where to go or even what schools would be a good idea to consider adding to my list of options. During my two years in the youth program, I attended many college tours and had help obtaining items that I needed to attend college. After visiting many campuses, the list of colleges interested in me rapidly grew. I knew where I wanted to go because of YBL; they helped me discover which institution was right for me."
